Things 2 do

PICK, CHOOSE & SAVOR

The soul, like the body, lives by what it feeds on.

Food for the Entrepreneurial Soul

on a placid water-way, an oriental fisherman stands on his raft-like craft. He is at one with his environment

Food for the entrepreneurial soul is necessary.

As we need nourishment for the body, positive regard for the emotions, intellectual stimulation for the mind so too we need food for our entrepreneurial soul.

We are all at different places in our own spiritual evolution. We therefore have different needs.

As entrepreneurs the food we need for our soul differs from those who are quite content with a 9 to 5 or some other form of existence.

We do not know why? All we know is that that thing within us which drives and pushes and dares us to dream our biggest and loftiest dreams is quite demanding. It compels us to burn the midnight oil. It forces us to seek after perfection fully knowing that it is unattainable. It is this which motivates us to pursue big dreams. Yet it is this that which drains us when we do not do as well as we want to.

We need food for our entrepreneurial soul in the good times –so we can keep on keeping on. We need food for our entrepreneurial soul in the not so good times- so we can remember that we are bigger than our mistakes.

We need words of encouragement, when we feel as if we would never achieve our goals, and stories of success to give us insight. We need a daily supply of inspiration on which to thrive. And we also need clarity- which we find in the in scientific such as quizzes and in the simple but sometimes profound such as a business horoscopes.

These are the things we need- the food for our entrepreneurial soul. Without these, our struggle to be the best we are, to achieve our dreams and to surmount obstacles become even more difficult.
