Why do I need a business plan?
Every business idea needs a business plan because it is the first of several tools by which you take your business concept from an abstract idea into a reality. Broad and general ideas are whittled down into specifics.
Clarified, the idea begins to take a more distinct shape as purpose and objectives are identified. Industry, market and cycles are understood. Customer demographic and the competition are known. Financial and managerial responsibilities are recognized. A good assessment or revision tool it measures where a business was and is; and where you want it to go. In this way the business plan is a road map. It gives a sense of what is up ahead and helps you to forestall, circumvent or plan for it.

Why do I need to write content for my site?
People conduct searches on the internet via keying interest or keywords. When you write content you can make your article as keyword rich as you want. This increases the probability that your site will come up in their search. The more your site comes up in search means the more visitors you have. This also means the higher you rank and the more sales you make. Also sites are ranked by both search engines spiders and humans, and both particularly the latter looks for content.

What is an e-newsletter and why do I need to have one?
An e-newsletter is a regular mini-magazine that goes out on a regular schedule to subscribers. It is covers news, sales, offers and other topics of interest in a specific industry.
E-newsletters are a great marketing tool to bring subscribers to your site. It keeps your name and service in their mind and it strengthens your brand of one.
One of the discoveries of internet marketing is that visitors go to a site upwards of 8 or more times before they are confident enough in that site to make a purchase. A weekly e-newsletter does not guarantee the ‘8+ purchase statistics’ but it increases the probability.

What features must I look for when buying a computer for an online e-business?
The life of the successful e-entrepreneur is one that is mobile and free. The ideal computer would be a lap top- a portable office. It would be able to function anywhere so that the e-entrepreneur while sipping Margaritas could check his daily sales revenue, respond to emails and so on.
It is neither too low costing and too slow; nor too high and unnecessarily expensive. It is mid range, internet ready, compatible with new soft ware, upgradeable and it comes with warranties.

What must I look for when choosing a company to host my online business site?
The ideal host also has a physically secure data center where only authorized personnel have access to private information. He is vigilant has a fortressed multiple firewalls protection and regularly tests, patches and up-date any possibility for breaches in their operating systems.
When deciding on a company to host an online business site first consider that time is money. That means that the host servers have a reputation of being up and running 99.999 percent of the time. We can determine if that is so if there are several back-up servers. So should one fail another automatically kicks in.
Security is of paramount important too. So the ideal host complies with Visa’s Standards of Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) and with Master Card’s Site Data Program (SDP) and is certified in both. He also has a SSL Certificate.
Along with security features the ideal host would have sufficient bandwidth so that during a site’s peak periods the site would still function at optimal capacity, without crashes, delays and slow page up loads and so on.
There is also the issue of storage. The ideal host storage capacity is reliable. Their network have high gigabits as more gigabits means faster speed in downloads and so on. Less gigabits means not as fast operating speed, if the host has insufficient storage then hosted sites uploads are slow.
The host provides live- not voice mail- technical support 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This too is very important because a technical malfunction can wipe out a site.
