Market research and finding your niche from that research is crucial to online success.
Niche marketing identifies and fills the gaps that big businesses cannot. It is cost effective marketing that markets, advertises, promotes and meets the unique needs of a high profit interest group.
There are over 100 million online users so doing a market research and finding your niche which turns out to be 1 or 2 percent of the online population can be highly profitable.
Finding your Niche
It would be near impossible to discover niche markets, without the clever key word selector tool designed by Overture. It is an excellent tool but it works at optimal capacity when combined with other tools. All we need to do is write in a key word. The results show how many times that that search term was used in the past month.
For example there were 24,096 unique searches for the key word ‘rich’. There were also dozens of other related terms. The most searched term was ‘big and rich’ with 61,703 searches and the least was ‘poor little rich girl’ with 624.
Any of the words in between could be developed into a niche market. For example there were 4,896 searches for ‘iron rich foods’.
We know that there are at least 4,896 people who are interested in getting information about ‘iron rich foods’.
All things equal if Dr. Evoy´s analysis tools shows that there is a high profitability, ie, high demand and low supply, ‘iron rich foods’ makes an excellent niche.
