Think and Grow Rich was written by Napoleon Hill and published in 1937.

Almost three hundred years earlier in 1667, Milton, in Paradise Lost, wrote: “The mind is its own place and in itself can create a heaven out of hell and a hell out of heaven”. Both men and countless others recognized that our thoughts keep us in poverty (hell) or lead us to riches (heaven).

Many people remain in poverty even when given a chance for betterment because they believe in the hard and fast rules which makes poverty.

Millionaire Minds

For many entrepreneurs it is our lack which often motivates us towards doing better. But it is that lack consciousness which is most challenging. Every day we sit at our computers and work towards success. And everyday when we do this we are battling, whether consciously or unconsciously our limited circumstances.

As entrepreneurs we want more so we are motivated to battle. But wanting more does not mean that we always get more.

Very few entrepreneurs ever have success with their first business. Most of us fail several times over.

We may be doing the right things, going to the right places, meeting with the right people but none of this matter if we do not monitor our thoughts. Entrepreneurs who have had success against all odds have a positive attitude. Even more importantly they trace the moment leading up to success as a change in their conscious thoughts.

It is that moment when they realize that their mind is the center of their world. And all the circumstances and conditions of their life is held there, as a magnet holds a paper clip, by the thoughts they think and beliefs they live.

This is the birth of their think and grow rich consciousness.

When this awareness dawns, fast on its heels comes the determination from this day forward, to monitor their thoughts. To replace negative with positive ones. To reconstruct a new set of beliefs.

Their emotions, words and doings are led by the millionaire mind. That mind that says, with total conviction: I Can.

When there is this happy harmony between thoughts, feelings, words and deeds we can only expect millionaire results!

This is the think and grow rich universal law in effect.

If we want success in our entrepreneurial pursuits then we need to remove the negation from our thoughts. We need to think and grow rich. But to paraphrase Napoleon Hill who said it best: We do it now because it can affect every phase of our life.
